Shipping

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via Fed Ex Freight. Fed Ex Freight will require a signature upon delivery and the package can be tracked by going to www.fedex.com/fedextrack.

The following guidelines have been established to assist KM Modern Cribs Customers at the time of receipt of our product. Following these guidelines will help ensure problem-free product delivery and may save additional time and expense.

Product Receiving Procedure for Customers

Immediately upon receipt of a KM Modern Crib, the Customer is required to do a visual inspection of the delivery. The Customer must verify the quantities of product on the carriers paperwork vs. the actual items received. A proper signature and date is required on the carriers paperwork or delivery receipt.

How to Handle Discrepancies or Damage at Time of Delivery

If the contents cannot be inspected immediately, a notation on the carrier’s paperwork must state “carton damaged-subject to inspection” and list the type of damage. Contents must be inspected within 48 hours of product arrival and damage reported to the carrier. Pictures of the damage and a detailed report of damage must be sent to KM Modern Cribs within this time frame.

If the package has excessive damage and the product is exposed, the Customer must refuse to accept the shipment. The Customer must sign the carrier’s paperwork as “carton damaged and refused”. The Customer must immediately call KM Modern Cribs.

Cancellations & Re-Consignments

When an order is cancelled after the product has been shipped, the Customer must refuse the delivery and sign the carrier’s paperwork as “carton refused order cancelled”. When a shipment destination has been changed after the product has been shipped, the carrier’s paperwork must be signed as “carton refused wrong delivery address”. There will be additional delivery and/or shipping charges after the order is confirmed and the product has been shipped.
